Emily Braught currently serves as the director of Assessment and Planning. In this role, she provides leadership and expertise in the design, implementation, and interpretation of assessments of programs and services across the Division of Student Affairs (DoSA). She also provides guidance in the evaluation of student learning outcomes based on engagement in division programs and services.  

She is currently a Ph.D. student in the higher education and student affairs program at Indiana University Bloomington. As a scholar, she is interested in assessment practices at institutions of higher education. Prior to this role in the Division of Student Affairs, Emily was a member of the IU School of Medicine’s Office of Faculty Affairs, Professional Development and Diversity (FAPDD) as part of the research and evaluation team. She has also had a prior role in DoSA as a residence coordinator for academic initiatives in Housing and Residence Life.
