Peer accountability and self-governance are important for personal development and community success. Members of fraternities and sororities have certain privileges and must also adhere to various rules and policies. Failing to meet expectations or follow the rules can result in losing these privileges.
At IU Indianapolis, all members of Fraternity and Sorority Life are expected to review, understand, and follow the Indiana University Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct, all Fraternity and Sorority Life community policies, governing council bylaws, and the student organization policies.
