Thank you for dedicating your time to our cause! Any amount raised positively impacts pediatric research. We're here to give you the tools to feel confident and successful as you begin your fundraising campaign.
Collect donations all year long
Campus Push Days
Campus Push Days are when we mobilize our entire organization, from the president to participant. Our goal is to raise as much money and spread as much awareness as possible in the span of 24 hours. We traditionally have one large push day per semester.
100 Days Out | Nov. 14, 2024
A week-long comprehensive dance marathon campaign where each day has a specific focus—one of which is recruitment. On this day, we connect with people across the IU Indy campus and spread awareness for our cause.
Marathon to Miracles | Jan.29–30, 2025
Jagathon's single largest fundraising push of the year! We will invite the entire campus, our families, and our friends to join us to commit to our cause for 26 hours.
Tip: Tell your family and friends about this day of giving, and how they can support pediatric research through your Jagathon fundraising efforts. Share often about Miracle Week on social media. Invite your friends who are participants to join you in fundraising on Marathon to Miracles.
General fundraising tips
- Reach out to people personally
- Connect everything back to the cause
- Use your talents/hobbies to fundraise
- Post your fundraising link on social media
Start a letter writing campaign
Letter writing is one of the oldest and most trusted ways to raise money for the kids. These letters are fairly short and describe our cause and how the recipients can help the kids.
These letters can be sent to: Local businesses, neighbors, work colleagues, family, parents' network, sports and clubs you're a part of, friends, past donors, and more. You'd be surprised who gives!
Once you have completed the letters, you can put it in a sealed envelope and bring it to Jagathon's office located in the CUBE (Level 3 in the Campus Center). We will provide the stamp and mail it for you. If we receive a donation, it will be added to your DonorDrive page.
Stewardship
It's very important that we steward our donors so they feel our appreciation and consider donating next time.
You can:
- Thank your donors in person.
- Use the email function on DonorDrive to email your donors soon after they donate.
- Give your donors shoutouts on social media.
- Send your donors “Thank You” cards after the event.
